Many people think that dieting is the fastest and best way to lose weight. Many others think that exercise produces better results and faster weight loss. So, who is right and what are the reasons why one better than the other.

In the first place, I do the obvious. Every person is different and unique. That said, it is obvious every person will get different results doing the same diet and exercise program itself. That's just how life is.

So which is better for weight loss ... diet or exercise?


It's not even close. The diet is king when it comes to weight loss. Each of them have their place, but if you want or need to lose a lot of weight and lose it fast, focus on your diet.

Bodybuilders as a whole are probably the best experts when it comes to losing weight in short periods of time. A lot of times they are mostly water weight loss and dehydration themselves, but they also know a lot 'of gaining and losing weight.

If you were to ask any professional bodybuilder on which they depend more on weight loss ... diet or exercise ... each of them will say diet. I can guarantee you that.

There is only so much you can do with exercise and increase your metabolism through exercise for weight loss. The truth is that you can increase your resting metabolism through better diet.

How?


Eat small, frequent meals ... as well as eating a lot of low calorie foods that provide a lot of bulk (fiber). This increases your metabolism because you are doing your digestive system to work harder to digest these foods and burn calories.

So if you were wondering which is better for weight loss ... diet or exercise ... diet is. Just eating smaller, more frequent meals to enhance your weight loss efforts. Even if you eat the same foods ... breaking them up into smaller meals will help you with weight loss.

This is true even if you eat exactly the same foods every day ... as well as the same amount of calories. Then focus on your diet first if your goal is to lose weight.
